“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip - South Africa” delivered when it came to the fun, shade, drama and island romances, ensuring viewers were glued to screens.

With a cast featuring some of the country's top housewives stars, who are known for their dramatic and pot stirring ways in one villa in Jamaica, anything was bound to happen.

The all-star cast included Beverley Steyn (“The Real Housewives of Cape Town” S1); Christall Kay (“The Real Housewives of Johannesburg” S1-2); LaConco (“The Real Housewives of Durban” S1-2); Lethabo Lejoy Mathatho (“The Real Housewives of Johannesburg” S2-3); Liz Prins (“The Real Housewives of Gqeberha” S1); Londie London (“The Real Housewives of Durban” S2); Melany Viljoen (“The Real Housewives of Pretoria” S1); and Nonku Williams (“The Real Housewives of Durban” S1-4).

Viewers were also introduced to Alton Bent, the Jamaican villa manager who was tasked with taking care of the housewives. He even found himself mixed up in the drama.

Bent found himself becoming popular online, thanks to his personality and mediating skills. The manager at Malatai Villa in an interview with Showmax admitted that he felt like he was in a movie because of how dramatic things were.

Bent hasn't watched the show yet but he has seen the feedback online and says it feels amazing.

“I hope I get to visit the ladies back in South Africa. I've also seen the backlash and I laugh because I expected it after a couple of days with the ladies.”

With all the bickering the ladies did with each other, Bent thought they were very mean but after speaking to them one-on-one, he realised they have nice personalities.

Bent revealed that all the ladies were all nice, but Nonku, Christall, Mel and Liz, stood out the most and all the Housewives were difficult at times.

“Everyone had their fair share of being difficult.”

He also revealed that he received a $20 tip from Nonku and was the only person who received a tip among the villa staff.

Bent has managed to stay in touch with the Housewives, occasionally speaking with them, more specifically with Lethabo, Mel, Liz, Christall and Nonku.

Amidst all the drama, Bent did learn a few things from the ladies, who he describes as strong and powerful women.

“If you want anything done, you must be stern. So I learned to be more stern, and mean what I say because, if you do not do that, they are just going to walk all over your head.”

“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip – South Africa” is produced by GOAT Productions and all drama filled episodes are on Showmax.
