One would expect such an announcement to simply be met with applause and congratulatory messages but that certainly wasn't the case when TVBlogByMlu shared the news on his X account.

Many were supportive of Maseko’s latest accomplishment as this is a major milestone in her ever-growing career, but critics had plenty of thoughts, with some even doubting her cooking skills.

Maseko has built a credible reputation in the culinary industry, she has presented several popular cooking TV shows such as “Homegrown Tastes South Africa, and hosts cooking seminars. She has placed top six on "Celebrity Masterchef SA”, and has received two Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

In addition to her impressive career in the culinary world, Maseko recently debuted her own 10-part television series, "Lorna’s Pantry", which premiered on January 15. The show, which showcases Maseko’s skill in transforming everyday pantry staples into extraordinary meals, is already receiving rave reviews for its relatable yet innovative approach to cooking.
