Khloé Kardashian dropped some raw truths on her "Khloé in Wonderland" podcast this week, revisiting a painful chapter with Lamar Odom that still makes her shudder when she talks about it.

"At one point during our marriage, he destroyed some of my prized personal possessions," Kardashian revealed, adding that the experience was genuinely traumatic.

"I remember sobbing, tears streaming down my face. I could remember me, on my knees, screaming."

It’s easy to see why, when Odom showed up in recent episodes of "The Kardashians", tears in his eyes, calling her his wife and asking for forgiveness, everyone else was like, "Khloé, you were a bit cold."

No kidding. Anyone would be.

Journals are a collection of years of thoughts, memories, and emotions that Kardashian described as "incredibly therapeutic".

She explained, "Everything was in these journals. They meant so much to me." Anyone who’s ever poured their heart onto paper knows exactly what she means. Journals are sacred.

They’re where you can be brutally honest, raw and vulnerable, with no filter and no judgement. Destroying them? That’s more than property damage.

Kardashian shared that Odom destroyed the journals while he was going through a particularly difficult time, struggling with drug addiction.

"He was incredibly paranoid and found these journals that he knew I did all the time and was reading them and just was convinced that I was like, taking notes and sending them to the government or something crazy," she said.

The aftermath of that moment left her hesitant to ever journal again.

She admitted, "Because I just felt like, wow, that was taken away in a f***ing blink, and what was the point?"

"I'm not going to start a journal again and have someone destroy it, or I lose it. It's more, I'm going to say traumatic for me, but I just don't even want to open that up again."

Yet, there’s a silver lining here. Kardashian has clearly done some healing and forgiveness since those days.

By sharing this story now, she’s reclaiming the narrative, turning a painful memory into a moment of reflection. Perhaps, symbolically, the destruction of her journals is also a release, letting go of that old pain and moving forward.

Sometimes the things we lose, especially in traumatic ways, end up helping us rewrite our stories on our own terms. And if anyone can turn heartbreak into growth while keeping it real, it’s her.

Fans have praised the "Khloé in Wonderland" podcast, calling it refreshingly real and introspective. Despite the Kardashians being famous for drama, the "Good American" owner stands out for how she works on herself privately, without preaching or imposing her beliefs on others.

Listeners admire her healthy mindset, especially given the challenges she’s faced, and many agree she’s easily the most interesting of all the sisters.
