The feature film Yoh! Bestie, a follow-up to the successful Yoh! Christmas, is set to headline Netflix's 2026 film slate.
Netflix has announced a launch date of February 6, 2026, for the movie, which Tiffany and Johnny Barbuzano created.
Although the trailer has not yet been released, Netflix has revealed that the film brings back fan-favourite talent and leans into romance, friendship, and emotional tension, delivering a fresh take on a story audiences already love.
The new feature film "Yoh! Bestie" continues the story of the popular series "Yoh! Christmas", offering the resolution fans have been waiting for after the series' incomplete ending.
The movie brings back the beloved character Katlego Lebogang as Thando and Siya Sepotokele Raymond as Charles, following them as they deal with their unresolved romantic tension leading up to a destination wedding in Knysna.
Thando and Charles had unfinished business in "Yoh! Christmas". Both of them were trapped in Thando’s family concern, as they asked her why she was single at her age. Thando then told her family that she’ll bring her boyfriend on Christmas. She then had to find herself a boyfriend before Christmas.
Her search for a suitable date led to a significant change in events. Meanwhile, her best friend Charles was secretly in love with her, but she remained oblivious to his feelings.
A lot of drama unfolded as she looked for a partner, and she even fell in love with a younger guy. However, the series ends with someone knocking at the door. Fans are curious to know who was at the door. Therefore, the film "Yoh! Bestie" will fill that curiosity.
