Fans are buzzing after Kelvin Momo announced his first-ever one-man live concert in Durban. The amapiano producer and artist revealed the news on Instagram, confirming that the show will take place on Easter Sunday in April.
In his post, he described the concert as an intimate moment between him and his supporters, calling it “personal, like a love song from me to you”.
He added that the night will feature music, magic and unforgettable moments, alongside friends he has created timeless songs with over the years. Phase one limited early bird tickets go on sale on Friday, February 20.
The announcement sparked immediate excitement, particularly from Durban fans, who have long felt overlooked as Kelvin Momo’s major live shows usually take place in Johannesburg or Pretoria. Social media reactions from fans reflected both excitement and playful rivalry between cities.
“Joburg people fighting for their lives under Kelvin Momo’s post… oh how the turn tables! Durban awumncinyana,” commented @nosi____.
@judyramphele_ added: “Kelvin Momo really decided to do his one man show in DBN instead of Joburg ugh.”
Another fan, @Twinkie_October, commented: “Kelvin Momo having a one-man live concert in DURBAN is crazy.”
The Durban show follows a strong run of live performances for the producer. He previously had a successful one-man show in Mozambique at Timbilo Fest last year, with Bandros and MaWhoo as guests.
Another notable show was his Red Bull Symphonic experience in 2025. The three-night event sold out and showcased a different side of his catalogue, blending amapiano with orchestral arrangements.
Fans praised the production and the emotion in the performances.
