Whether you are looking for a magical family escape or  soul-stirring music festival, Durban’s stages are coming alive this month.

The Little Mermaid Junior

Dive into a magical underwater kingdom as the beloved Disney classic comes to life on stage! Disney's "The Little Mermaid Junior" follows the journey of Ariel, a beautiful young mermaid who longs to leave her ocean home and her fins behind to live in the world above.

Based on the enchanting tale by Hans Christian Andersen, this production follows Ariel as she defies her father, King Triton, strikes a dangerous bargain with the sea witch Ursula, and sets out to convince Prince Eric that she is the one he’s been searching for.

Featuring iconic songs and a heartwarming story about the sacrifices we make for love and acceptance, it’s a must-see for the whole family.

The cast includes Ariel, played by Chloe Marot from St. Mary’s DSG, Sebastian, played by Khethukuthula Ngcobo from International School of Performing Arts, and Flounder, played by Azania Mavimbela from Crawford North Coast.

Where: The Milkwood Theatre, Danville Park Girls' High School, Virginia.

When: Runs from Thursday, April 2.
