American award-winning R&B singer, Usher, has revealed he is celebrating his second wedding anniversary with his wife, Jennifer Raymond, marking a significant milestone in their marriage.
The singer penned a heartfelt tribute on Instagram and shared a series of pictures on their wedding day in 2024.
“Soft as cotton, strong in the weave. Here’s to the life we’re building thread by thread. Happy 2nd Anniversary, my love,” he captioned his post.
The couple tied the knot on February 11 at Vegas Weddings' drive-thru tunnel, The Fast Lane, following his Super Bowl halftime show at Allegiant Stadium.
The pair’s love story dates back to 2019 when they first started seeing each other and also became public about their relationship.
The couple share two children: daughter Sovereign, whom they welcomed in 2020, followed by their son, Sire, who was born in 2021.
In a candid interview with “People” in 2024, Usher expressed gratitude to share a life with someone who also wants the same thing before tying the knot with Jennifer.
“When you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course, it is an honour and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” he said.
Before his current marriage, the Grammy award-winning singer dated multiple women in the entertainment industry, including allegations of being linked to Naomi Campbell in the early 2000s.
It was alleged that after they were spotted attending an event, romance rumours between the two started swirling around, but Usher shut them down by saying that Campbell was simply just a friend who accompanied him at the event.
In 2001, the “My Boo” hit singer dated and got engaged to TLC member Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas and their relationship only lasted until 2004.
Usher went on to tie the knot with his first wife, Tameka Foster, and their marriage lasted only two years before he got into his second marriage in 2015 with a woman named Grace Harry. They filed for divorce in 2018.
