This follow-up election, set for Friday at the chamber's office, highlights the importance of completing the eight-member board, which plays a crucial role in steering the organisation's goals and initiatives for the local business community.
In July 24, voters faced a unique challenge when four candidates received an equal number of votes, leaving the chamber with a tie that necessitated a second round of elections.
The nominees are a diverse group of professionals, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives to the table. They include:
Tozi Mthethwa: An executive at Ithala Development Finance Corporation, Mthethwa is known for her strategic insight into public relations and marketing, financial development, and community upliftment.
Kim Macllwaine: Currently a board member and affiliated with Distil Consulting, Macllwaine has experience in the consultancy sector.
