Durban to host International Longevity Summit as Africa steps into the future of aging

Experts will gather in Durban from September 10 to 11 for the 4th International Longevity Summit.

DURBAN will become the epicenter of global conversations on health, aging, and the future of longevity when it hosts the 4th International Longevity Summit taking place from September 10 to 11 at the Sibaya Hotel and Casino.

The summit aims to spotlight Africa’s pivotal role in the global longevity revolution.

The event is hosted by the Transdisciplinary Agora for Future Discussions (TAFFD’s) and its non-profit wing Afrolongevity, with support from South African Tourism, the KZN Tourism and Film Authority, and the Mangosuthu University of Technology—aims to spotlight Africa’s pivotal role in the global longevity revolution.

Longevity science is a fast-growing field and brings together experts from many different areas. 

Clinicians, policymakers, investors, and world-leading thinkers will converge to tackle the continent’s life expectancy challenges and unlock the untapped opportunities in health tech, trade, and innovation.

From cutting-edge research in regenerative medicine to AI-powered wellness solutions, the summit will dive deep into topics such as; Longevity research and innovation; Preventative, regenerative and rejuvenation medicine, Nutrition and healthy supplementation, Longevity-focused investment, policy and diplomacy, Medical tourism and advanced wellness and AI, blockchain and the distributed economy for longevity.
