BUSINESSES, schools, communities and individuals are encouraged to participate in World Environmental Education Day by engaging in educational activities that make a positive environmental impact.

Observed annually on January 26, World Environmental Education Day highlights the importance of raising awareness around environmental challenges and sharing knowledge that empowers people to protect the planet.

To commemorate this day, the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) will be hosting a hands-on Wildlife Enrichment Workshop designed to inspire young minds and foster a deeper connection with nature.

The interactive workshop, which will take place on January 31 at CROW’S premises in Yellowwood Park, from 9am to 12pm, will give children the opportunity to explore, discover, and learn about wildlife conservation through practical activities that mirror real-life rehabilitation and enrichment techniques used at CROW.

Animal Enrichment activities will include a guided tortoise walk, educational discussions focused on wildlife care, conservation, and environmental  responsibility.
