DURBAN Tourism has officially announced the opening of entries for the 5th Annual Durban Tourism Business Awards.
This flagship competition celebrates excellence, resilience, and innovation among local businesses, adding to the vibrancy and dynamism of the region’s tourism landscape.
Budding entrepreneurs and established enterprises in the tourism and hospitality sector are invited to submit their applications or nominations for this prestigious accolade. Entries close on March 23.

Accommodation Awards: Recognising excellence in hotels and non-hotels.
MESE Awards: Honouring meetings, exhibitions, special events, and world-class venues.
Visitor Experiences Awards: Celebrating outstanding destinations that create unforgettable memories.
Tourist Guides Awards: Recognising the expertise of nature, adventure, and cultural guides.

Selected business will receive developmental prizes to help elevate their businesses. All category top winners will receive up to R50 000 in prize money.
