Prince Afrika Zulu appointed as the new Deputy Royal Chancellor of the Zulu Kingdom

King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has appointed Prince Africa Zulu as the new Deputy Royal Chancellor.

The appointment is part of the king's broader vision to modernise the Kingdom and provide a firm groundwork for future growth and stability.

Prince Africa Zulu, who boasts an impressive record of service, will lend his extensive experience and insights to the royal administration, becoming an essential figure in the promotion of the Kingdom’s interests.

In a statement Zulu Prime Minister, Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi, congratulated Prince Africa Zulu on his appointment and wished him strength and success. 

This role places him alongside the esteemed Royal Chancellor, Iso leSilo Malusi Zondi, reinforcing a commitment to seamless governance within the Zulu Kingdom.

As part of a robust leadership coalition, Zulu will work within the Prime Minister's Executive Council, the highest decision-making body of the Zulu Kingdom.

This Council, under the auspices of King kaZwelithini, is chaired by the Traditional Prime Minister, Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi, and includes other influential figures such as the deputy traditional Prime Minister Inkosi Phathisizwe Chiliza, Royal Chancellor Iso leSilo Malusi Zondi, deputy Royal Chancellor Prince Africa Zulu, kaZwelithini's spokesperson Prince Thulani Zulu and the king's representative in the Provincial House of Traditional Leaders Prince Nathi Zulu.

The Council’s pivotal responsibilities encompass supporting the Zulu monarch's governance priorities, advancing cultural preservation initiatives, and spearheading community development programmes.

Zulu's appointment signifies kaZwelithini’s commitment to building a capable, disciplined, and visionary administration that serves the Zulu Nation with excellence and integrity.
