The Moses Mabhida Stadium pitch has been temporarily closed for essential rehabilitation work, the City announced.
In a statement, officials said the playing surface will remain closed until April 30 to allow for maintenance and recovery. The rehabilitation programme is aimed at restoring the pitch to optimal condition and ensuring it meets required standards ahead of scheduled fixtures in May.
The City said the work is part of its ongoing efforts to maintain the stadium as a leading international venue for sport and major events.
Despite the temporary closure of the pitch, all other stadium operations will continue as normal. Tours, retail outlets and visitor facilities remain open to the public during the rehabilitation period.
