Indian cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues (centre) shares a high five with a young fan as Captain Harmanpreet Kaur (left) looks on. The moment took place during a Consulate General of India high tea in Durban today, hosted by Consul General Niteen Shubash Yeola in honour of the Indian women’s cricket team, the reigning champions.
The team is currently in South Africa for a five-match T20 International series against the Proteas women. The series serves as a final dress rehearsal for both sides ahead of the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in England and Wales in June.
