Bollywood A listers Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have been spotted in Cape Town, where filming is underway for their upcoming film King.
The high-profile shoot has drawn widespread attention after photos and videos from the set surfaced online.
The actors were seen filming at the V&A Waterfront, with images quickly going viral across social media platforms.
Padukone appeared in a flowing dress during Friday’s shoot, while Khan was dressed in a striped shirt, sunglasses, and a pendant. Reports suggest the pair were filming a song sequence.
Photos and short videos from the shoot in Cape Town, including scenes at the V&A Waterfront, have surfaced online, have fueled excitement among fans.
According to international media reports, the South African schedule includes intense action sequences and romantic scenes for the Siddharth Anand directorial.
In the action thriller King, Khan is said to portray a seasoned, skilled and potentially dangerous mentor figure.
The film also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Jaideep Ahlawat in key roles.
Directed by Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King is slated for a Christmas 2026 release.
Padukone recently announced her second pregnancy.
King marks Padukone's sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. They first worked together almost 18 years ago in the blockbuster Om Shanti Om and later in hits like Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan.
