Proteas all-rounder Corbin Bosch is set to join Mumbai Indians for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).
Bosch has played in various T20 Leagues around the world from Betway SA20, Caribbean Premier League, Pakistan Super League, Canada Global T20 League and previously been a reserve player with Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.
The 30-year-old is fresh off helping MI Cape Town to their maiden SA20 title where he claimed an impressive 11 wickets at an average of 17.36. Bosch will replace fellow Proteas fast bowler Lizaad Williams, who has been ruled out of the competition due to injury.
Bosch will join up with his fellow MI Cape Town teammates Ryan Rickelton and Trent Boult at Mumbai Indians.
He will, however, have to forgo his PSL contract for the 2025 season after being selected as a diamond pick by Peshawar Zalmi in the draft back in January.

The PSL was moved to the April-May window this year which now clashes with the IPL season.
The IPL call-up caps an incredible past six months for Bosch. The former SA Under-19 World Cup winner made his Test debut last year where he became the first South African to score a half-century and take a four-wicket haul in his first match.
It was instrumental in helping the Proteas beat Pakistan in a thrilling Test match at Centurion – his home ground and that of his late father and former Proteas fast bowler Tertuis Bosch – which helped secure Shukri Conrad’s team a place in the World Test Championship final at Lord’s later this year.
He also made his ODI debut in the “Pink Day” clash against Pakistan at the Wanderers and was a late addition to the Proteas’ Champions Trophy squad after playing in the preceding Tri-Series.
Bosch has played in 86 T20s. His batting record in the format has seen him score 663 runs, with a high score of 81, averaging 18.41 with a strike-rate of 113.33. In the bowling department, the all-rounder has claimed 59 wickets, while avering 32.66 with a strike-rate of 23.3. His best figures are 4/19.
