Has Anele Mdoda officially tied the knot with Bonelela โ€œBuzzaโ€ James Mgudlwa?

Well, all signs suggest she has.

The media personality recently took to Instagram to share dreamy snaps from her snow-chasing adventures in the Alps, along the border of Italy and Switzerland.

The breathtaking pictures have left netizens speculating that this romantic getaway is not just an ordinary holiday, but the coupleโ€™s honeymoon.

Fuel was added to the marriage rumours after Anele quietly dropped her maiden surname from her Instagram account and now goes by Anele Mgudlwa.

โ€œPlot twist. She chased winter instead,โ€ she captioned one of the posts, leaving fans reading between the lines.

The post included images of a celebratory bottle of bubbly labelled โ€œI doโ€, with two champagne flutes set against a dramatic mountain backdrop - a detail that did not go unnoticed.

Naturally, social media users flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

@getinmybelly.co.za wrote: โ€œWinter holidays are the best (all the good food). Enjoy the Honeymoon โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’.โ€

@drmusamthombeni added: โ€œBadle honeymoon! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.โ€

@ladynam_bm commented: โ€œEnjoy every bit of a piece of my heart ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ.โ€

While @leratomakgethaa said: โ€œNow here is a woman living LIFE like uyiMovie Star.โ€

Anele also shared images of herself swimming in a heated outdoor pool in the ski region, known for its luxury winter escapes, while indulging in rich hot chocolates to keep warm.

Traditional wedding confirmed

In April, the couple reportedly tied the knot in a traditional ceremony, marking the start of their journey into marital bliss.

News of the executive producerโ€™s nuptials was initially revealed by her close friend, author Khaya Dlanga, who shared pictures of the happy couple on Instagram before later deleting them.

The 947 radio presenter and Mgudlwa, who is said to be a Xhosa prince and lawyer from the AbaThembu tribe, were married in a traditional Xhosa ceremony, with the couple dressed in traditional attire.

From Switzerland to Italy

After staying in Matterhorn, Zermatt in Switzerland, the newlyweds hopped into a cable car and crossed borders to enjoy lunch in Cervinia, Italy.

โ€œGet in the cable car, loser. Iโ€™m taking you on an adventure. Breakfast in ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Lunch in ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น. Thank you so much to Alessandro and his family for welcoming us in the most Italian wayโ€ฆ with lots of food, wine, espresso and lemon cello ๐Ÿ‹ I wonโ€™t say if you are ever in Cervinia, please pop into @bergman_mountain_hotel I will say travel there just for the hotel, the restaurant and the people. Prego!!!โ€ Anele shared about the experience.

A winter honeymoon dream

Visiting the Swiss Alps in winter for a honeymoon offers a magical blend of snow-covered landscapes, cosy charm, adventure and relaxation.

From skiing and sleigh rides to fondue dinners and luxurious spa days, the region is perfect for creating unforgettable romantic memories.

Picturesque alpine villages, snow-capped peaks and scenic train rides only add to the enchantment.

While Anele has not officially confirmed her marriage, the surname change, traditional ceremony reports and unmistakable honeymoon energy have fans convinced - and delighted - that love is firmly in the air.
