British Airways has reduced its flying schedule to and from the Middle East.

In a statement this week, the company said due to the continuing uncertainty of the situation in the region, it has cancelled all flights to and from Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai and Tel Aviv until later this month and to and from Abu Dhabi until later this year.

"We’re keeping the situation under constant review and are in touch with our customers to offer them a range of options," the company said.

BA said it has limited seats on its repatriation flight from Oman (Muscat) to London's Heathrow airport on March 11 and 12 for customers with existing bookings.

"Following these dates, the flights will pause due to reduced demand but will be kept under continuous review," BA said.

Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, Oman Air, Air France, Lufthansa, and Finnair have also adjusted their flight schedules to and from the region.

Air Canada confirmed that its flights to and from Dubai until March 28, and Tel Aviv until May 2, remain suspended.

Meanwhile, Virgin Atlantic's flights to Dubai have been cancelled until March 28. The airline has also cancelled its flights to Riyadh for two weeks.

Oman has cancelled its flights to and from Amman, Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Dammam, Kuwait, Copenhagen, Baghdad and Khasab from March 9 to March 15.

Air France has cancelled its flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until March 12. Their flights to and from Beirut and Tel Aviv remain cancelled until March 13.

According to Lufthansa, flights are suspended to and from Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Dubai, and Tel Aviv until March 15 and until April 12, respectively.

For Finnair, travel to and from Doha and Dubai have been suspended until March 29.

Emirates is operating on a reduced flight schedule.

"Customers transiting in Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their connecting flight is operating," the airline said.
