Versatile rapper Cassper Nyovest is aiming to succeed where Zulu King Misuzulu failed.

The ambitious rapper cum celebrity boxer is hoping to bring popular boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr to South Africa.

Zulu King Misuzulu was left with an egg on his face after attempting to bring The Money Team boss to South Africa for his hyped boxing event.

Floyd Mayweather jr cancelled his attendance at the King Misuzulu International Boxing Tournament, which was slated for Moses Mabhida stadium on December 11, after the event organiser failed to pay his appearance fee.

As a result of Mayweather jr’s decision to pull out, the event was postponed to a later date which will be announced in due course.

With that in mind, Nyovest aims to succeed where King Misuzulu failed.

In a series of tweets, Nyovest said he is the only person who can bring Floyd Mayweather to South Africa. He said he just needs sponsors to make the dream a reality.

“If there’s anybody who’s gonna bring Money May to SA, the proper way!!!! It’s going to be Cassper Nyovest. Trust me. In fact I’m already working on it. Just need the sponsors to think big, ” he tweeted (sic).

In his next tweet, Cassper added that bringing Mayweather jr to South Africa will be great for the nation’s boxing.

The rapper did not give a timeline as to when he will be able to bring Floyd Mayweather jr to South Africa.

The event was to be an elite affair, and people who wished to get a seat close to King Misuzulu and Floyd Mayweather reportedly had to fork out a cool R50 000.

The King Misuzulu International Boxing Tournament was to feature six title bouts.
