Media personality Minnie Dlamini made history by becoming the first woman to grace the cover soccer magazine KickOff.
Instead of celebrating this milestone Twitter storm started to brew, with most criticising the the decision to have the former SoccerZone presenter as the cover girl.
Critics saying the magazine could have chosen any of the many successful sportswomen, the likes of Portia Modise or even the legendary soccer lady Carol Tshabalala.
Zanele Madida wrote" I love Minnie, I really do but I don't think she was the appropriate choice to be FIRST women to be on the cover of #KickOff magazine."
