Anatii tag teams with Mzansi's finest Mawhoo and Usimamane, as he makes a musical return

As fans eagerly await Anatii’’s highly anticipated album, he has been working with some of South Africa's finest local artists, Mawhoo and Usimamane.

The 31-year-old features on rapper Usimamane’s smash hit “BANK” along with Tony Daymani. He also worked on the song's production.

Anatii, also released a song called “Ematshwaleni” with electronic music dance duo Kususa. The song features top vocalist Mawhoo, Noxolo Xolo Ngema and King Deetoy.

The award-winning music producer recently shared pictures from what seems to be the set of a shoot.

In the pictures, Anatii is seen with Mawhoo, creating a buzz that the music video for “Ematshwaleni” could be in the works.

Anatii’s feature releases have fans excited that the album he promised them could be coming soon. U.n.a.t.h.i__ said: “Big Qwa🦍🙌🏾 we need that album that you promised us this year🥺”

Paulmzizi said: “This is s beautiful song...can't wait to hear you new album...been hooked on IYEZA ever since it dropped and it's aging well...hope to hear you with @bustarhymes after that inspiration yall were on with @realblackcoffee”

Anatii’s last album was released in 2018, “Iyeza” reached huge success and still is streamed by his fans. In October last year, he said he was working on the final touches of his album in Paris, yet fans are still awaiting the body of work.

Last year, Anatii released two singles “Ancestral Call” featuring Ladysmith Black Mambazo and “Amadlozi” with LookAtUps. In a previous interview with IOL, Anatii expressed interest in expanding his sound.

“We need to keep unlocking our minds and our ears and our hearts and our spirit and our energy on the highest level so we can really elevate ourselves in terms of our consciousness.

“And I’m not trying to be deep, but for real. And we can still have fun while doing that.”
