Two of South Africa’s top music acts – DJ P.H. and Major League DJz - will headline the legendary L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate Racing Festival after party at Kenilworth Racecourse on the 5th of January 2019, to conclude what is the highlight of the Cape’s horseracing and summer social calendar.
With versatility, energy and a commanding stage presence, DJ P.H. has garnered a legion of fans for his spectacular live mash-ups. In addition, between his weekly Metro FM radio show, “Cruise Control”, and his hosting duties on SABC 1’S Live AMP, DJ P.H. is fast becoming one of the country’s most recognisable DJs.
No stranger to big stages themselves, internationally lauded Afro-fusion hitmakers, Major League DJz, will open the after party and set the night off to an electrifying start with their live performance which fuses DJ and percussion.
A world-class event, the two day LQP Racing Festival also includes summery jazz tones all day on Friday and Saturday, January 4th and 5th, while LQP will also pay homage to the city’s culture with a parade of the Cape Minstrels on Saturday afternoon, ahead of the day’s main event, the R1.5 million L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate.
Tickets available on Computicket.
