Spring has officially sprung, and Unathi Nkayi is ready to help you get that bikini body just in time for the sunshine.
The media personality and singer has taken to social media to share her weight loss and fitness journey. She is sharing tips, inspiring many to embark on their own wellness paths.
In a recent Instagram post, Unathi reminded her fans of her own journey.
“The first thing I do is show people my before and after pics because people like to forget how big I was,” she joked, proudly displaying an old photo from her chubbier days.
Her first piece of advice is both simple and effective, which is commitment.
“Whatever you want, you can have; you must just commit to it,” she said.
Unathi encourages her followers to pledge a minimum of two workouts per week until December 31. For those with a bit more energy, she suggests putting in extra hours on those productive days.
“Promise yourself that you will work out a MINIMUM of twice a week until 31 Dec and we have a deal. The weeks you have more energy and time put more hours in to make up the weeks you can only do two hours.”
When it comes to nutrition, Unathi has a clear strategy.
“I eat after 12 and always start my day with protein. Usually eggs with avo but fish and chicken are wonderful too,” she shared.
Unathi also revealed the secret to achieving a flat stomach.
“The flat stomach is achieved in the kitchen and the abs at gym.”
She has been sipping on her revitalising green juice in the evenings, a concoction of “spinach, cucumber, one avo, ginger and 100 juice”.
When she’s feeling a bit cheeky, she even throw in a splash of gin to make it festive.
‘I have gone back to my green juice for supper and sometimes add gin when I'm feeling festive.“
With spring upon us, there’s no better time to embrace Unathi’s tips and commit to a healthier lifestyle.
