I took the Thames ferry to Greenwich from Westminster pier and marvelled at the riverside views.
The Royal Observatory designed by Sir Christopher Wren is the site of the prime meridian between the two hemispheres. It has played a significant role in the history of astronomy and navigation.

It’s a very proudly patriotic village of course.
The quintessential British pub lunch but with a riverside setting is sublime.
