British acting icon, DJ and producer, Idris Elba and South African genre-fluid producer and singer-songwriter, Una Rams have teamed up to release a new single, “Go Deeper”.
Elba is currently dominating the club scene with a string of releases via the London label, Defected Records, which includes his “Together” series remix of Fish Go Deep’s iconic club anthem “The Cure + The Cause” and “La Trumpeta”.
He continues to lift up those he works with, which now includes South African genre-fluid producer and singer-songwriter, Rams.
According to a statement: “Ram’s creativity knows no bounds as he brings his global sound to the world stage with ‘Go Deeper’.”
The song, composed of Afrobeats underpinned by Ram’s rhythmically addictive vocal, is a powerful, collaborative track that is set to make waves in upcoming weeks.
Taking to Instagram, Rams posted: “AAAAAAAAHHH SOOOOOO GAAASSSED!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥. @aeromanyelo hit the biggest connect of the century. @_mattrams pushed me to do it & co-wrote the hook. @official808x held us down and engineered 🤞🏾❤️🔥❤️🔥.

Rams, who is no stranger to working with industry icons, previously worked with DJ Black Coffee, among others.
On Valentines day, he offered fans and music lovers a special treat with the release of his EP, “so in love”.
The track captures the essence of love's simplicity and genuine connection.
As an artist that is not afraid to push boundaries and connect with a diverse audience range through his skilful writing and masterful production, “Go Deeper” is yet another reminder of the new age South African artist’s world class talent.
