Popular comedian, actress and presenter Tumi Morake is set to host a brand-new series, Sunday Sexy Love, which will premiere on DStv Channel 161 on Sunday 2 October at 9pm.

With her infectious energy, marvellous sense of humour and authentic relatability, Morake easily navigates the conversations with these celebrity lovebirds.

Popular media personalities and celebrity couples such as Boity and Anton, Bontle Modiselle and Priddy Ugly, Gogo Maweni and Sabelo Mgube will be making appearances on the show.

These are all high-profile celebrity couples with a love story and they will be sharing it unfiltered on Sunday Sexy Love.

On the spicy talk show, viewers will get to know well-known and in-love celebrities even better by exploring their romantic relationships intimately to see how they keep the spark alive.

Other guest couples on Sunday Sexy Love will include Latoya and Lebo, Ntokozo Mbambo and Nqubeko Mbatha, Mpho Wabadimo and Themba.

The director of local entertainment channels at M-Net, Shirley Adonisi, said the company was excited to bring the show and prided itself on giving viewers great content.

“Our Sundays at Mzansi Magic are known for their reality and drama content, and we are thrilled to add an original, themed talk show to this line-up. We pride ourselves in giving our viewers a bird’s eye view into our celebrities’ lives and this show will be a totally different lens all together,” Adonisi said.

For 10 weeks, the show will feature couples talking openly and anecdotally about their love stories – the good, the bad and the spectacular – and sharing what the secrets are to keep their relationships going.

Still on love and relationships , viewer favourite Uthando Nes’thembu will make a return for an impressive season 6 on Thursday 6 October at 8pm.

The show follows popular polygamist Musa Mseleku and his wives as they navigate polygamous marriage, parenthood, culture and keeping the family together through good and challenging times.

Viewers can tune in to Sunday Sexy Love season 1 every Sunday, starting 2 October at 9pm; and Uthando Nes’thembu season 6 every Thursday, starting 6 October at 8pm. Only on DStv Channel 161.
