Cape Town - The 2016 Business Traveller Africa Awards was held in Johannesburg.
Launched in 2012, in association with Business Traveller Africa the awards ceremony is an event intended for the South African business travel trade and celebrates the highest excellence in the various categories where winners are selected by a vote cast by peers and industry experts, including corporate travel buyers and travel agents.
The organisers in partnering with SAACI, the South African Association for the Conference industry, for the first time were tasked with selecting winners for the four conference categories: large conference venue; large hotel conference venue; small conference venue and small hotel conference venue.
The Westin Cape Town has this year won the coveted award for ‘Best Traveller Africa Best Large Hotel Conference Venue Award’. Michael Liffmann, executive assistant manager at The Westin Cape Town comments, “For the Westin Cape Town, this award is due to all of the hard work and commitment given by our staff and management at The Westin Cape Town.”
